Let me be and I will provide, I am but a humble tree
— A Tree Advocate

Trees offer shelter, food, clean air, carbon capture, water mitigation & filtering, erosion control, shade, reduced energy consumption, mental health benefits, social wellbeing, noise reduction, improve soil, increase land values, among many other benefits. What does a tree ask for in return?

  • Consultation

Whether it be simple advice or in depth reports we can provide the expert advice required

  • Development

AS 4970 Protection of Trees on Development Sites requires a professional arborist be involved in development projects

  • Risk Management

Trees are dynamic biological systems which take specialised knowledge to assess risk potential. Trees have inherent risk but that does not make them dangerous

OUR SERVICES

  • Visual Tree Assessment & Risk Assessment

Visual Tree Assessments can be carried out for many reasons. We may assess the condition, health, structure and root stability of a tree and if required can perform a risk assessment using recognised system such as QTRA (Quantified Tree Risk Assessment) which provides a measure of potential risk. This may be required if a duty of care is required by a third party.

  • Root & Soil Investigations

A lot of the problems trees face, stem from below ground. Whether it is root based or soil based. Roots are often overlooked as they are not easily seen, but they are just as important if not more important as the above ground parts of the tree. Where conflicts with infrastructure happen we can advise how to mediate the problem. Whether that be root barriers, root removals or upgrades to infrastructure.

  • Soil Amendments

Soil is the key to a healthy tree. If the soil health is poor it may limit the tree’s ability to grow and its longevity. A tree has a genetic potential to grow for many years if not decades and sometimes centuries. A tree’s lifespan is all dependant on its environment so if we can improve the soil, we may increase the tree’s health, vigour and vitality, i.e. lifespan.

  • VCA

Vegetation Control Agreements are formal agreements with Western Power which allow tree’s to overhang clearance zones. We can inform on the potential liability taken on by the owner and complete the paperwork which allows trees to remain untouched.

  • Regulated Tree Reports

As many of our Shire’s are adopting tree protections on private land, we can assist in providing advice and reports when pruning or removal may be required.

  • Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer (PSHB)

Since 2021 this destructive little beetle has been causing considerable damage to our trees. We can assist in identification and management of this pest as per DPIRD (Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development) advice.

  • Pest and Disease

Pests and Disease are stress factors for trees. Sometimes management is called for to reduce the stress to affected trees. This may combine treatment of the pest or disease along with providing health improvements to the subject tree intern making them more resilient to such pests and disease.

Who We Are

Based in WA, we work the Perth Metro, Wheatbelt and Surrounding Regional Area’s. We value tree’s and the benefits they bring to our environment. Tree’s are often over looked for their value, so we need to be their advocates. If we can assist in educating the public, private, government and business sectors, it is our hope to address the decline of our tree canopy whether urban or regional.
